Inertial Sensors - How to Increase Security and Save Cost at the Same Time
About the speaker:
Dr. Thomas Frasch studied chemistry and received his Ph.D. in 2001. He joined First Sensor in 2014. In his position as Product Marketing Manager he is working closely with sales colleagues as the direct technical and commercial interface to create an optimal solution to the customer's technical and project-related requirements. He is responsible for the standard optical and inertial sensors at First Sensor.
This webinar is about the highly accurate capacitive silicon inertial sensors from First Sensor for the measurement of inclination, acceleration and vibration. The sensors consist of a silicon sensor element manufactured according to patented micromechanical technology combined with ASIC signal processing in a hermetically sealed SMD housing. Depending on the bandwidth, the inertial sensors reach resolutions of 10 μg or 0.0005° (2 arcsec) and can be adapted both mechanically and electrically to the respective customer application. In addition, evaluation kits are available for easy and fast testing and configuration of the sensors.
